How do I use Amidosan® Intimate Cleanser pH Neutral?
Pour a small amount of the product into the palm of your hand and apply it externally to the affected area. Rinse thoroughly.
Can I use Amidosan® Intimate Cleanser when I have vaginal dryness?
Certainly, its composition based on emollient and soothing plant extracts balances an optimal intimate environment.
Why does the tea tree oil in Amidosan® Intimate Cleanser not have its characteristic strong odour?
In this formulation the tea tree oil is not added as such but complexed in a preparation based on a maize derivative. This preserves its characteristics and increases its efficacy because the complex only releases the active ingredient at the time of use and at the same time mitigates its characteristic strong and penetrating odour.
What happens if I use an intimate cleanser with an incorrect pH?
Using an intimate cleanser with a pH that respects that of the vaginal environment is always advisable so as not to alter the microflora and normal composition. A neutral pH is physiological and characteristic of the vaginal microenvironment during a woman’s prepubertal and menopausal years, when the lack of oestrogen leads to a consequent reduction in lactic acid. It is therefore necessary to respect this balance, using cleansers with a pH similar to that of the mucosa in order to prevent irritation and limit characteristic vaginal dryness.
