Why does Amidosan® Cleansing Powder not dry out the skin like normal starch? The special Corn Starch it contains and the other ingredients in its formulation are balanced precisely to avoid the dryness that ordinary starch generally causes. How do I use Amidosan® Cleansing Powder? With the GIFT bottle you will receive on request, you can enjoy the effective properties of Amidosan® Powder almost like a shower bath: pour the contents of a sachet into the bottle, add water as much as you wish depending on the creamy or liquid consistency you wish to achieve, shake the bottle and pour the product over your body. Rinse off or leave the residue on the skin if you need a super-soothing effect. Rinse the bottle with water after use. Alternatively, you can sprinkle Amidosan Powder directly onto wet skin or use a damp sponge: add a little water and massage gently until a light emulsion is obtained. Finally, rinse. As a bath powder you can disperse the following amounts in warm water:
- for baby: one sachet in the bath;
- for intimate hygiene: half a sachet in the bidet;
- for the adult: two sachets in the bathtub.
As a sprinkling powder, distribute on the skin in areas prone to sweating or at diaper changes of the infant. What is the shelf life of Amidosan® Cleansing Powder? Amidosan® Powder has been on the market for 60 years, and its microbiological and organoleptic characteristics have been confirmed stable even on 10-year-old productions Since it is an anhydrous product, i.e., without water, a characteristic that makes the growth of microorganisms unfavorable, and packaged in individual pouches with reduced risk of contamination, we can say that it has a very long expiration date. What does detersion by “adsorption” mean? Adsorption, not to be confused with absorption, is a physical phenomenon by which powders such as starch and clays are able to incorporate and remove impurities on the surface layer of the skin, not causing alteration of the hydrolipid film. Cleansing by adsorption is the gentlest.
